The Forest Service says it best, "Tucked away in a narrow gorge just off the Highland Scenic Highway is a hidden treasure known as the Falls of Hills Creek Scenic Area." There is a well crafted wooden and steel trail that leads downwards along the Hills Creek to access the three waterfalls. The second and third waterfalls have a better viewing angle. The only unfortunate part of our visit was that we had missed peak fall colors. Many, if not most, of the trees in the area had already lost their leaves.
