Colonial Williamsburg, former capital of the Virginia colony, is now a living history museum featuring both original and reproduction historic structures and artifacts. They include the governor's palace, capitol, courthouse, and various taverns, shops, and residences. Also interesting to hear about what life was like here for the various residents.

A number of events take place at Colonial Williamsburg. One of the interesting ones tonight was the colonists firing their muskets! At first they were firing independently, a few at first, but eventually a dozen or so were present and firing together making for an impressive display!
As part of the evening events tonight in Colonial Williamsburg, British soldiers marched through the town, eventually returning to the courthouse to play some music while illuminated by torchlight.
