Crater Lake National Park - Evening
I returned to Crater Lake National Park in the evening and stayed until sunset, armed with DEET wipes to keep the mosquitoes at bay. The lake was no longer calm and reflective but still maintained a beautiful blue color. As the sun started heading down towards the horizon, it started getting colder and rather windy. There eventually was a nice glow illuminating the far portions of the crater that were still illuminated by the sun as well as some trees and terrain nearby.
