The American Falls, entirely on the US side of Niagara Falls, were best viewed today from the observation tower above the Maid of the Mists dock. Definitely quite a sight to behold and also incredibly cold and windy! And an incredible amount of mist reached part of the platform due to the direction of the wind! And like on Goat Island, everything near the mist was encased in a layer of ice!
