The Corning Museum of Glass had quite an interesting collection - many unique pieces, a few of which were extra special that the tour guide pointed out and spent some time talking about. Of particular interest were the mosaics created from tiny little tiles of glass. They look like paintings until examined more closely!

The only negative of this place was the gift shop. So many glass pieces from China! Why in the world would I want to buy glass made in China when I am visiting an American glass museum?
