Chetro Ketl is another large "great house" in the Chaco Culture National Historical Park, less than half a mile away from Pueblo Bonito. Much of Chetro Ketl appears to be no longer present. It does have one very long wall that gives a sense of how large it was when it was in use 1,000 years ago. The scale is a bit hard to tell from the ground but it is clearly evident from the Pueblo Alto trail above. Chetro Ketl was the last place we visited as there were many afternoon thunderstorms starting to move in.
