Laniakea Beach in northern Oahu is well known as a location where Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles go to get some sun on the beach. We spotted a few in the surf - at least two and likely more. Unfortunately, none of them came out of the water. We watched them for quite awhile. They're pretty hard to spot. Every once in awhile they pop their head out of the water for a second or two to breathe. And you can sometimes see them when they're close to the surface. Overall though, pretty difficult to view!
