Chain of Craters Road
The Chain of Craters Road heads down from the Kilauea Caldera to the sea some 4,000 feet below. The road previously continued onwards by the sea past the current 61g ocean entry lava flow and out of the park. The road passes a number of features and varied terrain including some rather large volcanic craters. At the current end of the road, there is a sea arch that is visible from the lava cliffs above. The photographs here start from the end of the road and move upwards.
