We drove in the snow up to Nederland to visit Mud Lake, part of the Boulder County park system. The conditions were similar to the first time I ever visited the park - snowy with a good amount of snow on the ground but not enough to require snow shoes and not enough snow to be inaccessible by car. Everything was wonderful with snow coating the ground and the trees! We were even lucky enough to see a rather mangy looking coyote walk across the trail not too far in front of us!
