It's been a few years since I've been to Pikes Peak and there's been some changes! A big construction project is taking place up at the summit resulting in the need to take a shuttle for the last 3 miles. And the Swiss style cog railway up to the summit is out of service, apparently due to maintenance issues with the track. I've never actually taken the train up though, I always drove.

Luckily for us, despite some occasional rain, the weather was pretty good up top. Windy but not too bad, and cold but not too cold. And decent views of the surrounding areas!
