It was quite a beautiful morning today - the perfect weather to visit Mount Shasta! I had planned on visiting Panther Meadow but the road was closed part way due to snow and water runoff further up. I ended up hiking where the road closed at Bunny Flat. I walked up a trail which ended up becoming less of a trail and going uphill into the wilderness. I went for awhile but eventually turned around as it kept going up and up without any significant views of Shasta. It was still a good time though.

Afterwards, I headed to the Lake Siskiyou Beach & Camp resort on the shores of Lake Siskiyou. $1 to enter got me great views of the lake and Mount Shasta looming in the distance! And I found a nice secluded place to sit and enjoy the view!
