Canyon Rim
While there is only one trail that heads down into the canyon, there are numerous overlooks up above that give a variety of views down below. The canyon is an interesting place to see. The canyon walls all appear rather steep and nearly vertical. The floor is relatively flat and wide with a narrow, currently dry, river running through it. The floor is also home to many trees along the river, adding green to the otherwise red and brown landscape. The land is still used by the Navajo, mostly for farming.
