The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center has two black bears. One was found as a cub in downtown Juneau, the other was found stuck in a hole that was being dug for a septic system. We watched one strolling around in the tall grass and came back later to watch the daily feeding. Surprising to see the black bear eat an orange! I figured they'd just swallow the thing whole but it was quite skilled at opening it up and leaving the peel behind!
