The views from atop Pilatus were amazing! The weather was excellent with the majority of the clouds at higher altitudes. The city of Lucerne, 5500 feet below and about 10km away, was easily visible with some of the larger structures identifiable. On the opposite side of Pilatus, snowy peaks as far as the eye could see!

Up atop Pilatus, in addition to the cableway and cog railway stations, there are multiple places to eat, a gift shop, and two hotels! There are also multiple viewpoints above the station although unfortunately only one was open today. Not that it seemed to stop a few people who went to those verboten places!
