Doubtful Sound
After arriving at Doubtful Sound, we transferred to the Patea Explorer, a 30m catamaran. It was quite spacious for the number of passengers with ample outdoor space. The bow was nice when it wasn't raining hard. When it was raining, the sides were reasonably dry. The weather alternated between raining hard to just a drizzle with occasional spots without rain at all. We went out to the Tasman Sea and then back inland visiting two of the arms of the fjord.
