Decided to go back up the Skyline Gondola this evening to see what sunset is like. Its pretty close to the summer solstice here in New Zealand so the days are pretty long, sunset wasn't until 9:30pm. Its been a pretty cloudy day and there was just a little bit of color in the sky. I stayed until it started getting fairly dark. There wasn't really anything that I could use as a tripod other than a thin ledge where I had to apply downward pressure on the camera to make it stay put but I got a few good 10 second exposures. The little blur in the water in the last picture is the TSS Earnslaw which I was on earlier today.
