Murodo, at 2,500 meters in elevation, has a number of hiking trails that wind through the snow covered landscape. There were a number of interesting features. Down below, there were thermal features in a valley. There are trails and what appears to be boardwalks through the thermal area but it has been closed due to the poor air quality. Up above, there are also a number of alpine lakes which have begun to melt exposing just a little bit of that beautiful bright blue color! The weather was extremely variable for the short time that I was there. I was lucky to get enough clear sky for a little bit of time to see some far off landscapes as well as those closer by.
