In the town of Gifu, atop Mount Kinka, lies Gifu Castle. It can be reached by a short steeply ascending aerial tram followed by a short trail atop the mountain. The castle is a replica built in the 50s. As it is on a mountain, the tiny castle towers over the city of Gifu and is easily visible from down below. The last photo in the set gives a good idea of how the castle looks from the town!
