Sea to Sky Gondola Summit
The Sea to Sky Gondola rises nearly 3000 feet from sea level to a snowy winter paradise! It was pretty wet and cloudy on the drive up to Squamish but it was quite nice up atop the mountain with very light rain and clouds which made a moody scene but still allowed glimpses of further away scenery. As I left, the clouds did start to hide what I could see earlier in the day.
The Sea to Sky Gondola is actually pretty new - it opened only 3 years ago! And like any good modern high altitude attraction, it has a suspension bridge. It was a bit scary as it sways but not nearly as scary as the one atop Titlis in Switzerland!
