I've passed by this fountain so many times but have never stopped to take a decent night picture of it. At least, I don't think I have!

Apparently, tonight was the lighting of the Christmas Tree here in Civic. I missed the actual lighting event, but, I have a feeling it wasn't quite like the lighting of the tree in Darling Harbour... It was only last weekend but feels like its been much longer! The tree itself cycles though some of the color spectrum which is kind of neat.

Overlooking Russell and Lake Burley Griffin from atop "Mount" Pleasant. It's more like a hill... At the top is a memorial to the Royal Australian Artillery.

Last night in Canberra! A new journey begins soon!
