A big Australian Pelican at The Sanctuary.

I was walking down a trail when I reached a dead end. I turned around and saw an Emu walking slowly down the path towards me purposefully. It kept coming closer and closer. It looked hungry. It was right in front of me. I sidestepped and quickly made my way around the Emu through the brush. It turned around, looked at me, and kept coming towards me. I slowly backed away but it kept coming. I turned around and fast walked away, looking back occasionally to see it was still slowly following me. I made it around a bend and got away. Australia really is dangerous!!!

Lots of Kangaroos! I saw way more of them today than I did when I was here almost two years ago.
